Chelsea+Lee - Engagement Session

We love these sessions! They are such a great way for the four of us to get to know each other. We shot this session amongst the heavy snowfall we had which made this session so unique.

We look forward to Chelsea+Lee's wedding because they are laid back, a ton of fun and never stop laughing. We love it!

Natalie+Chris

We love getting to know our bride+groom before their big day but when it is someone you have known your whole life, it is a bit sweeter.
My brother Chris got married to his high school sweetheart Natalie, on December 20th. A beautiful, COLD, WINDY Kansas day.
Typical Kansas weather, but who cared, they were getting married.

Jenna+Derrick

We just got back from a two week trip to Kansas. We hung out with family and friends like most of us did over Christmas, but we also celebrated something extra special. My brothers wedding. Before I post some images of his wedding day, we snuck in a quick session with some of our favourite friends, Jenna+Derrick.

A couple weeks ago we were in California relaxing with family and friends. While we were hanging out one morning we decided to do a session with my brother in-law Scott and his girlfriend Sarah. Here are a couple of our favourites.

SOPA Square

When we meet clients for the first time they usually ask us, "Do you do photography full-time." We say, "Yes... but we also do design." They ask, "What kind of design?"

I think it is time that we show some of our graphic design work. Whether we are doing work for our Wedding + Lifestyle Clients or Design Clients, we combine our photography and design skills together. SOPA Square is no exception. The housing and retail development is going to be in the SOuth PAndosy area of Kelowna. Life at SOPA is about enjoying luxurious living while making an ecologically conscious choice. We love taking on new opportunities and because this project is so focused on minimizing its environmental impact, we feel so honored to be apart of it.

The work we have done for the project has been the naming, logo + identity design, brochure design, print advertising, website and photography. As the project unfolds, you will be able to find more information at www.sopasquare.com

Busy, busy, busy...

We have been doing lots since our last post. Shooting, designing albums and cards, finalizing new products, booking weddings and even some traveling. Because our schedule is keeping us on our toes, it is now my job (Jon's job) to nurture the blog and keep everyone up-to-date. We also have been pumping out some exciting design work for Adrian Design www.adriandesign.ca which I will include in a post shortly. In the meantime enjoy a wedding we shot this Fall for Allison+Rob. They were a great example of how to add colour into your wedding attire. We loved the bridesmaid dresses! Very Nice!
