Dawn+Andrew

We had a blast getting to photograph Dawn+Andrew again (you might remember them from an earlier post back in May when we did their engagement session). Our day with them started off with them getting ready. We then headed to Summerhill Winery for their ceremony. They allowed extra time for photographs between the ceremony and reception (which we love when our brides do!) We went to several different spots to get some great shots. Later they celebrated at The Okanagan Golf Club at Quail Ridge.

Dawn's gown was absolutely stunning

Andrew received a love note and new watch from his bride-to-be

While Dawn was eagerly putting on her new pearl earrings and necklace

I love this shot Jon caught of the guys right before the ceremony started

Married!

We found this fabulous door up by the pyramid at Summerhill Winery and took full advantage of it's character and beauty

And full advantage of the pyramid!

We later met up with the wedding party for some classic shots

Dawn+Andrew wanted urban photographs so we took them to this back alley and got some great shots

While I was taking this classic portrait of Dawn

Jon captured some unique shots of her bouquet

Having a little fun!

After downtown we headed to an open field on the way to the reception to get some more traditional contemporary shots. This is one of my favourites.

Before the reception Andrew changed into his RCMP uniform

Instead of the normal clinking of the glasses to have the bride and groom kiss, Dawn and Andrew made their guests come up and sing to get them to kiss. Brittany, Dawn's niece got up to sing with her ukulele. She had the most amazing voice and did an awesome job!

Some heartfelt, hilarious and tearful speeches
