Olympic Torch Relay

What an honour to be hired by The Hudson's Bay Company to photograph the Olympic Torch Relay while it made it's way through Kelowna. It was a cold morning but 110% worth the extra layers of clothing it took to stay warm at the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration that took place outside of Zellers Tuesday morning.

Festivities included a pancake breakfast, athlete autograph signing with Canadian gold medalist Catherine Pendrel (cycling) and bronze medalist Mike Lewis (rowing) from 2008 Beijing Olympics, along with the passing of the flame from torchbearer to torchbearer.

Kim + Andrew Engagement

I've known Kim since I was little so it was awesome when they decided to book Adrian Wedding Photography for their August wedding. Kim + Andrew traveled from Calgary for their fall engagement session. It was a bit cold but the sun did come out creating such beautiful light for us. Thanks guys for being awesome during your e-session, we can't wait for your wedding!

Rhonda + Andrew Engagement

It's been awhile since we've blogged. Not because we haven't been busy but because we've been too busy to find time to upload our sessions. Lots of engagement sessions, kids sessions and finalizing client orders over the last several weeks. We'll be better at blogging this next little bit as we have some awesome sessions we can't wait to get up. So stay tuned!

We'll start with Rhonda + Andrew. Andrew and I went to high school together so it was awesome when they asked us to photograph their wedding! We had a great time catching up, hanging out and snapping some beautiful pictures at the same time.

Sandra + Guy Wedding

The storm clouds rolled in and the rain came down in buckets as we drove to Spirit Ridge to document the wedding of Sandra + Guy. After the two hour drive the clouds opened up and they were blessed with bright blue clouds and lots of warm sunshine. We always have such a great time photographing at Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa because there are so many beautiful locations for photographs. Thanks again guys for being so much fun!

Tamara + Danny Wedding

I've known Tamara for the last 10 years. We met on the first day of Grade 12 Chemistry class and we've been best friends ever since. I heard about Danny 5 years ago when Tamara told me he broke her glasses on their first date. It's been fun getting to see their relationship grow over the past 5 years. I was excited when Tamara called to share the good news that she and Danny were engaged. Extra special because she not only asked us to photograph their wedding but asked me to be a bridesmaid as well. What I love most about you two is the way you make each other laugh. Danny I know you'll take care of her, love her and treat her the way she deserves to be treated. You too looked absolutely fabulous on your wedding day. Jon and I wish you nothing but love and happiness.
